Open Space and WRO

Working to preserve open space is a key component of our mission. WRO is involved with several important initiatives on open space, trails and walkability.

If you are a Whitpain Township resident interested in open space and you have not done so, please join WRO now.  Please let us know what open space, trails and walkability issues are most important to you.

Two Township documents are important in any discussion of Whitpain open space.  

• Whitpain Township Open Space Preservation Plan 2005 Update (adopted October, 2006).
• Comprehensive Plan Update for Whitpain Township (adopted June, 2006).
